Amoxicillin is wonderful stuff (as long as you aren't allergic, like me). TheBoy is all back to normal - running, yelling, and oh yes, the talking. Non-stop. I'm glad he's not sick anymore but man, the quiet was nice for a while....
Rainbow Trout is now officially a first grader! That means today was her last day of school and she came home with the school supply list for next year. Maybe it's just that I'm preggo, but it sure did make me weepy. And it wasn't even the thought of all 3 home all summer that made me cry, either. My baby girl is getting so big! I have to brag, too - she had a perfect report card (not that it matters in kindergarten, though some of the crazies that live here think so), so she'll get to pick a special activity as a reward. But my baby is so big!!
I had to break down and buy Sunny some Barbie clothes for the yard sale Barbies, since I was tired of the naked Barbie orgy going on over here. Apparently I shot myself in the foot, because now I have to help her change the clothes 40 damn times a day. Maybe the orgies are better.
And so, we embark on summer. The pluses: I don't have to get up in the morning for a few weeks, until camp starts. I get to spend time with RT that isn't focused on homework or other school activities. We get to go to the pool, tho I have to find bodyguards for that since I have 3 non-swimmers on my hands. More time for just hanging out. Popsicles on the porch. Fireflies.
The con: 3 kids under the age of 7 home all day, all summer. Bury me under all the laundry now.
