Okay, so not strangle her, but don't think for one second I haven't considered the benefits of military school.
Trout takes ballet. She's had 3 ballet classes so far this term. She has taken ballet for a year and a half now, so nothing new. She has special tights for ballet, costing $16/pair. She has one pair, which are worn SOLELY for ballet, and nothing else.
Today, somehow, she got a snag. She decided to pull on the snag. It created a run. She thought that was "neat." So she pulled more places to make more snags, and pulled them. Tights now resemble nylon ruffles. Oh, yeah, and they are only about 4 inches long in front, at which point she has put her legs through the holes, so that she has two leg-tails hanging down behind her while she looks like she is wearing ruffly shorts from the front.
Any ideas for a creative halloween costume we can make from that?
I keep telling you, get her a lab coat. We'll teach her to write up grant proposals, and she'll be all set.
