Nemo had his 2 week checkup today. He has reflux and is puking A LOT, and he doesn't sleep much at any given time - he is up pretty much every two hours all night long, and it takes an hour to take care of all the changing, feeding, and cleanup after puking. So, after being pronounced perfectly healthy despite the reflux, he weighs in at
9 lbs. 8 oz. He weighed 7lbs 10 oz. at birth, so he has surpassed his birthweight by almost 2 pounds. To put this into perspective in this house, Trout had barely gained back her birth weight, Little Man hadn't (but he had been in the NICU for 15 days and wasn't fed for a few days except through a tube), and Sunny had gained not quite a whole pound beyond her birth weight. So for now we won't be medicating his reflux unless it starts making him unhappy.
A big boy for sure. We are proud, if tired and achy. No wonder I'm still bleeding.
