Wherein I visit the dermatologist.
Since I had an appointment for my annual "Make Sure the Moles Aren't Mutinous" visit to the dermatologist and it had been a while since I had machete'd my legs, I made an extra special effort to get myself shorn this morning before the appointment, so the poor man didn't have to wade through the tall grass get distracted by the dense overgrowth and could actually see the plethora of skin marks that I sport thanks to my Scottish/British heritage and too many sunburns as a kid.
I was sitting on the table in my skivvies and oh, so flattering paper frock, and as the man was looking up and down to make sure my moles weren't declaring independence with a shot against the host (one was, it was quickly sliced and shipped off to biopsy) I found a nickel-sized spot that I missed with the razor this morning.
Right on top of my left knee. Couldn't have been more obvious if I'd circled it with a Sharpie. D'oh.
I am NOT going to laugh at you...okay, so I am, but ONLY because I can see myself doing the same thing.
Hope all is well with the one he found! Reminds me I need to get mine checked too, as I am covered with them as well *sigh*

OH MY! Too funny. This happened to me last year during my annual exam w/the GYN!!! Only it was near my ankles & I know she grabbed that lovely rough area to put my feet in/out of the stir-ups!
