You are not a mean mommy, just a mommy who wants the best education for her child (and not wanting to deal with whining child at home with nothing to do). I do that all the time, and occasionally it does come back to bite me in the butt. You know next time she says her tummy hurts, you'll tell her the same thing and send her to school and 9 times out of 10, she'll be fine.

Lily is telling me her throat hurts, but I am still sending her to preschool. She's not running a fever and the pain seems intermittent. Of course, that means I'll be getting a phone call in two hours from school telling me to come get her.

And I love the chalk story!

Dude...if I had a nickel for every time I threw my arms in the air and said, I CAN'T DO SIX THINGS AT ONCE people would mistake my financial records for Oprah's.
