1 rock + 1 preschooler with artistic ambitions + 1 four month old minivan =
1 furious mom and 1 minivan needing a paint job
She drew on the passenger door, the driver's door, and the rear liftgate. She's damn, damn lucky she's freaking cute.
It actually happened a few weeks ago - it's just taken me this long to calm down and blog about it. We can't afford to paint it right now. It doesn't appear to be down to metal, just to the primer, so we don't think we need to do it right away to protect from rust. It just looks awful.
My four month old minivan.
Sigh.
Ohhh. The things our children do! Campbell got his hands on a marker and drew all over the walls in the girls' room, and all over their doll clothes.

Oh my, I do not know what I would have done!
I guess after it is done, it's done...but I'd have been fuming.

oh, you loved that van. That sucks.
Michael broke my laptop when he was about 18 months old. Took the keys off and I could not get them back on. I literally almost killed him. Doug had to deal with him when he got home b/c I was too busy crying.

I'm new here (from MTTSM) and had to laugh about the paint -- my 2 year old son did the same thing to our "brand new/used" station wagon about 13 years ago! We couldn't kill him (I guess it's frowned upon in Ohio), but we did mention it to our insurance agent/friend who said "why that car was vandalized! You should put in a claim and have it repainted -- the bank doesn't want a vandalized vehicle with payments!" So we did. Good luck!

As my neighbor with 3 boys always jokes-
'It's only money!'
