So glad he got the affirmation he needed!! Now if we can just control the adults we'd be doing well. It makes me furious to read about lack of control and sportsmanship. Why aren't the kids from the other team on the bench instead of out on the field?

That is so awesome! But the coaches...they need a reality check and to remember where they are and what they are doing and who they are doing it for.

Good for him. I'm sure that experience did more than just increase his appreciation for the game.

As for the coach telling his 3B to shut up... well, I can't say I'm surprised, honestly.

I really cant say I am, either, but fortunately weve been able to avoid a lot of that. Its a good league, and we lucked out with a good team and great coaches who have the right perspective.
